Work from Home

Need to find a job that you can do from the comfort of your own home?

Jobs are out there, you just need to know where to look.

To find a work-from-home job there are several several steps you should take:

1. Don't be taken in by scams. Research the companies, and remember that you should never have to pay money to get a job.  So, if they ask for money upfront it is a big red flag!

2. Build your resume.  A resume should be simple, to the point, and no longer then one page. A well-written resume could mean the difference between an interview and the rejection pile.

  Let the jobs find you!

3. Have a home office, or central place of work.  You should have easy access to a phone, a computer, and possibly a fax machine.

4. Create an email account specifically for job search/ work related emails.  Sometimes a job search can trigger a phenomenal amount of spam mail.  To keep your personal email clean, create a separate email account.

5. Set aside a certain time of day and/or a certain amount of hours that you are going to dedicate to your job.  Don't take on a job that you aren't prepared to put the time into.
